Shipping Policy

At Lady of Bugs, the welfare of our invertebrates is our top priority. All live animals are packed with great care and dispatched using services designed to minimise stress and transit time.

Dispatch Days

Live invertebrates are dispatched Monday to Thursday only to avoid animals being delayed in postal systems over weekends.

Orders placed after Wednesday may be held until the following Monday to ensure safe arrival.

Non-live items (merchandise, printed items, etc.) may be posted throughout the week.

Live Invertebrate Shipping (UK Only)

Live invertebrates are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery or an equivalent next-day service.
This ensures tracked, next-day delivery and reduces transit time.
Shipping costs for live animals are clearly listed at checkout or in the product description.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, as missed deliveries can compromise animal welfare.

Weather & Safety Delays

We reserve the right to delay dispatch in cases of:

Extreme cold or heat
Postal strikes or service disruption
Any conditions that could risk animal welfare

If a delay is necessary, we will contact you as soon as possible.
